In this article, you'll learn

  • Who Mark Rabbidge is and his connection to Pam Burridge
  • How Mark's career as a shaper and longboarder unfolded
  • What else drives Mark's creative pursuits beyond surfboards
  • Where to watch the short film about his craft

Mark Rabbidge makes one-of-a-kind things. Surfboards, mostly. Cars, when the mood takes him. Whatever leaves his hands, no two are ever quite the same.

He is a rare artisan in the surfing world. A professional longboarder through the 80s, he shaped boards for several champion surfers, among them Pam Burridge, the 1990 world champion, who also happens to be his wife.

Mark lives on the South Coast of NSW, Australia. He has always been connected to the ocean, forever on the hunt for uncrowded waves. His other passion is cars, which he builds to suit his own particular taste. Different craft, same instinct: shape it by hand, and make it yours.
