Poncho Towel Changing Robe
At the time of writing, it is midwinter in New Zealand. Today I went surfing at a beach called Ohope. It was shoulder high, offshore and icy. After catching 10 or so fast little rights, I dashed back to the car with flippers for feet and grey blue hands. I reached into the boot of my car and there it was: my new Vivida poncho.
I put it on and pulled the hood strings tight. Do I admit what happened next? I wore the poncho for the rest of the day.
Isn’t there a Simpsons episode where Homer decides to switch to a poncho for comfort? This was me. I sat in a hot pool (we’re staying in a holiday park) and then put my poncho back on. These shorts are designed for living life by the beach. They’re lightweight, and have a mesh inner and pockets. Three of my favorite things. In shorts. And life.
