SAN FRANCISCO – Taylor Stitch, Responsibly Built For The Long Haul, is proud to announce an exclusive new capsule collaboration launching February 10th. While the brand’s journey has roots stretching from California to Maine, the core characteristics of Taylor Stitch remain consistent. Undoubtedly among them is surfing and surf culture (in fact co-founder Mikey Armenta still hits the waves on a daily basis). The new eight piece capsule (available exclusively at Taylor Stitch while supplies last) was developed to celebrate all things surf, from East Coast to West.
Authenticity is always a key tentpole for Taylor Stitch when deciding to collaborate, only choosing the right key partners could bring this vision together. As such the brand decided to partner with the premiere surf forecast authority magicseaweed and their long-time brand friend/fellow surfer Ty Williams. Drawing inspiration from good times, big waves, and their collective team’s Atlantic Pacific cross collaboration, dubbing the capsule The Party Wave Collection was a natural fit.
We really wanted to capture both the essence of the sport and the greater surf lifestyle, so having the right partners on board here was crucial. We grew up with magicseaweed and Surfline as go-to resources for checking forecasts at all our favorite spots & we’re all such huge fans of Ty’s work. Bringing everyone together for a super unique project like this just made perfect sense

With it, he reminds us to not take things so seriously and to (as one must when riding the swell) go with the flow.
Using Taylor Stitch’s meticulously crafted menswear as a canvas for his art, Ty helped the brands create some of their favorite gear to date. A proverbial raised glass rendered in textiles to the easy-going, fun-loving vibes of surf culture and all that it’s done to shape collective identities.
