From September 20-28, surf culture will take over France’s most famous waves, on the coastline of les Landes. Nine truly exceptional days of surf competitions, concerts, art, skate, movie screenings, surf legends and more!
Now in its third year, the Quiksilver Festival by Swatch offers a deep dive into boardculture, complete with an incredible lineup of elite riders and a packed schedule from day to night.

Surf legends on site
Unveiled in 2023, the Quiksilver Festival has quickly become September’s go-to event for surf and boardculture lovers.
This year, the event is back with an increasingly exciting program and a surf lineup for the books. Legendary French surfers Jérémy Flores and Miky Picon will be hosting 24 of the world’s best surfers, ready to take on France’s mythical waves.
Get ready to witness some wild rides by Kai Lenny, Matt Wilkinson, Coco Ho, Zeke Lau, and Milla Coco Brown as well as the legend himself, Kelly Slater!
French surfing will be proudly represented by Olympic Champion Kauli Vaast and fellow Tahitian surfers Michel Bourez and Vahiné Fierro, alongside local favourites Joan Duru and Maud Le Car.
A packed nightlife
On top of the exciting surf lineup, the Quiksilver Festival proudly introduces a rich program to enjoy throughout the event: a great selection of concerts by international artists, a high-energy signing session with the event’s riders and an exclusive screening of “Dos au Mur” with Jérémy Flores – a powerful and intimate deep-dive into the French surfer’s legendary career.
Beyond the waves, the Quiksilver Festival is a one-stop event for music lovers.
The festival will showcase a wide range of genres, featuring international headliners and new talents alike. High-paced, energetic, and free – you won’t want to miss it!
The now highly-anticipated opening party will kick off the festival, followed by a pop-folk evening at the Surfing. The closing party – sponsored by Deezer – will be all about electro music, closing the Festival with a bang.
Audiences will also enjoy skate demos by the Swatch team, exhibits and many more exciting events that will keep the Landes coast buzzing for days on end.

French artist Jean Julien signs the Festival’s artistic direction
This year, the Quiksilver Festival’s artistic direction has been handed to internationally acclaimed French artist Jean Julien. A surfer himself, the artist imagined the event’s official poster, a powerful piece where imagination and reality collide in the form of a monstrous wave ready to swallow surfers whole.
