Surfing has been the cornerstone of Nathan’s life from the day his father pushed him into a crumbling white-water wave at their local beach. Surfing for Nathan is not just a sport, it is his lifestyle.
He has enjoyed a long spell as a sponsored longboarder, riding for companies including Santa Cruz, Electric Eyewear, The Realm and ION. Most recently Nathan has been captivated by the completely new feeling that mid-length asymmetric surfboards offer. He now rides an eclectic quiver of surf craft by Tim Stafford Surfboards.
His niche is discovering and surfing waves in quiet, cold-water locations, and Nathan loves nothing more than hiking into a remote spot to set up camp. He has travelled extensively through Europe, Australia, Africa, and Indonesia. His next trip is planned to an icy cold North Atlantic Island.
For the past decade Nathan has documented his surfing adventures for numerous online and printed media outlets, as well as writing articles for his sponsors.
